About us

The 'NOMOS' publishing house was established in January 1991 in Cracow academic circles and in cooperation with professional scholars from many other academic institutions.

Our main goal is to publish and promote a scientific book with particular emphasis put on the studies of religion.

NOMOS – (Greek) embodies a spiritual rule of social life, the highest hierarchy of values, that protects society against an anomie. Religion participated and still participates in shaping any society at any given time.
